Augusto Matine (born 13 February 1947) is a former Portuguese footballer who played as a midfielder.

Career

Born in Maputo, Mozambique, Matine gained 9 caps for Portugal and made his debut 10 May 1970 in Lisbon against Italy, in a 1-2 defeat.
After retiring from playing, Matine became a football manager. He had a spell as manager of the Mozambique national football team, and was appointed manager of Clube Ferroviário de Maputo in 2003. Matine was the manager of Grupo Desportivo de Maputo until May 2012.
