The Attorney General of Indonesia is the competent authority to advise the Government of Indonesia on matters of law. The Attorney General represents the government at the Supreme Court of Indonesia and is a Cabinet-level official. The current Attorney General is Muhammad Prasetyo.
The term of office of the Attorney General was determined by the Constitutional Court of Indonesia in 2010 to be concurrent with the term of office of the President of Indonesia.
