Attimis (Friulian: Atimis, German: Attems, Slovene: Ahten) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Udine in the Italian region Friuli-Venezia Giulia, located about 70 kilometres (43 mi) northwest of Trieste and about 14 kilometres (9 mi) northeast of Udine. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,909 and an area of 33.3 square kilometres (12.9 sq mi). According to the census 1971 23,3% of the population are Slovenes.

The municipality of Attimis contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Forame, Subit, Porzus, Racchiuso, and Borgo Faris (Partistagno).

Attimis borders the following municipalities: Faedis, Nimis, Povoletto, Taipana.

Here lies an important medieval archaeological museum with many artifacts and interesting routes for school children

The Attems noble family originates from the Fortress of Attimis.
