Attila Chikán (born 4 April 1944, Budapest) is a Hungarian economist, university professor, corresponding member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and foreign member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences. His fields of research include: business economics, competitiveness of firms and logistics.

He studied mathematical planning at the Corvinus University of Budapest (then Karl Marx University of Economic Sciences) and earned his PhD in 1969. He was the founding principal of the Rajk László College for Advanced Studies in 1970. Between 1998-1999 he was the Minister of Economy in Hungary, then from 2000 until 2003 he was the Rector of the Corvinus University of Budapest.

He received the degree of Doctor of Economic Sciences honoris causa from the University of Babes-Bolyai, Romania, in 2003, and the degree of Doctor of Science in Engineering honoris causa from Lappeenranta University of Technology, Finland, in 2008.
