Astrotischeria astericola is a moth of the Tischeriidae family. It was described by Braun in 1972. It is found in North America, including Ohio.
The larvae feed on Symphyotrichum species, including Symphyotrichum cordifolium and Symphyotrichum lateriflorum. They mine the leaves of their host plant.
