Astroloma conostephioides, commonly known as flame heath, is small shrub species in the family Ericaceae. It is endemic to south-eastern Australia. Plants grow to 1 metre in height and have prickly blue-green leaves. The red, tubular flowers, which appear between March and November in the species native range, are eaten by emus . These are followed by red, succulent fruits that are about 7mm in diameter.
