Assyrians in Jordan include migrants of Assyrian origin residing in Jordan, as well as their descendants. The Assyrians in Jordan number approximately 100,000–150,000 people and most of them came as refugees from northern Iraq, one of the four locations of the indigenous Assyrian homeland areas which are "part of today's northern Iraq, southeastern Turkey, northwestern Iran and northeastern Syria". They mostly live within the capital city of Amman. Most adhere to the Chaldean Catholic Church, with smaller numbers following the Assyrian Church of the East and the Syriac Orthodox Church.
