Ashwani Kumar is a retired IPS officer and the former Governor of the Indian state of Nagaland, having briefly served as Governor of Manipur during 2013.
He was the DGP of Himachal Pradesh from August 2006 to July 2008 and had worked as the Director of CBI form 2 August 2008 to 30 November 2010.
