Arteluce (founded 1935) was a lighting and interior design company. It was founded by aeronautical engineer and modern lighting pioneer Gino Sarfatti in Milan, Italy. Arteluce is best known for popularizing industrial design.

Arteluce gained renown in the 1950s as a national and international reference point for the modern architecture movement in lighting. Commissioned designers included Franco Albini and Marco Zanuso. Arteluce gained attention through participation in many exhibitions in Italy and abroad, winning a Diploma of Honour at the 1951 (IX) Milan Triennale and Compasso d'Oro awards in 1954 and 1955. In 1974 the company became a division of the Flos group, employing designers such as Matteo Thun, Ezio Didoni, Perry A. King and Marc Sadler.

A number of pieces are in the permanent collection at The Museum of Modern Art in New York.

Notable projects

Marc Sadler was awarded a Compasso d'Oro in 1995 for the 'Drop 2' wall lamp.
