Arthur "Art" Cruz (born May 27, 1988, in Downey, California) is a Mexican-American drummer who has played in current metal bands such as Prong (since 2012) and for the deathcore/symphonic metal band Winds of Plague (2008-2012, since 2015). Art learned to play drums while attending South El Monte High School from 2004 to 2006. In 2008 he joined the band Winds of Plague and recorded the album The Great Stone War with them. The album peaked at #72 on the Billboard 200. In 2011 he performed on the band's next album, Against the World, which peaked at #60 on the Billboard 200. In 2012 Cruz left Winds of Plague citing "creative differences" and was asked to play for Prong. Art has toured and recorded on the covers album Songs from the Black Hole. In 2015 he returned to Winds of Plague as drummer, while continuing to perform with Prong.
