1. Arrondissement of Blaye, (subprefecture: Blaye) with 63 communes. The population of the arrondissement was 87,458 in 2013.
2. Arrondissement of Bordeaux, (prefecture of the Gironde department: Bordeaux) with 82 communes. The population of the arrondissement was 907,877 in 2013.
3. Arrondissement of Langon, (subprefecture: Langon) with 198 communes. The population of the arrondissement was 129,850 in 2013.
4. Arrondissement of Lesparre-Médoc, (subprefecture: Lesparre-Médoc) with 51 communes. The population of the arrondissement was 85,544 in 2013.
5. Arrondissement of Libourne, (subprefecture: Libourne) with 129 communes. The population of the arrondissement was 151,231 in 2013.
6. Arrondissement of Arcachon, (subprefecture: Arcachon) with 17 communes. The population of the arrondissement was 143,557 in 2013. It was split from the arrondissement of Bordeaux on January 1, 2007.
