The Arlington Road Runners Club (located in Arlington, Virginia) is a non-profit chapter of the Road Runners Club of America. The club is geared towards training new runners and walkers to complete local races and to improve their general fitness levels. It offers members measured training routes, running/walking tips, and a friendly atmosphere dedicated to helping their members reach their training goals. Its local sponsors also offer members additional training and fitness support as well as discounts on services and merchandise.
The club was founded in 2007 by Nelda Strasser, Ellen Williams, Shari Pine, and Val Rodriguez. All are former members and coaches from local marathon training programs.
