The Arkhangelske gas field natural gas field is located in the north-western part of the continental shelf of the Black Sea. It was discovered in 1989 and developed by Chornomornaftogaz and Shelton Canada. It is located 60–70 kilometres (37–43 mi) off the coast, at a depth of 51 metres (167 ft).

Arkhangelske field began production in 1991 and produces natural gas and condensates. The total proven reserves of the Arkhangelsk gas field are around 750 billion cubic feet (21×10^9 m3), and production is slated to be around 70 million cubic feet per day (2.0×10^6 m3/d) in 2015.
