Arixeniidae is a family of earwigs; it is the only family in the suborder Arixeniina (one of the four suborders of the order Dermaptera). The other three suborders are Archidermaptera, which is extinct, Forficulina, the largest of the four, and Hemimerina. Arixeniidae is represented by two genera, Arixenia and Xeniaria with a total of five species in them: Arixenia esau, and Xeniaria jacobsoni being the most well-known. As with Hemimerina, they are blind, wingless ectoparasites with filiform segmented cerci. They are ectoparasites of various Southeast Asian bats, particularly of the genus Cheiromeles (i.e., "naked bulldog bats").

The suborder is spelled Arixeniina, not Arixenina.
