Brigadier Archibald Robert Allen (born 1888) was an Australian Army brigadier in World War II.

He is believed to have enlisted in World War I on 16 September 1914 and was assigned to 16th Battalion, H Company (according to the AIF Project website).

Between the wars he was the Commanding Officer 43/48th Infantry Battalion.

During World War II he was Commanding Officer of the 3rd Australian Infantry Brigade (1936-1942), and Commandant of the Western Reinforcement Centre (1942-1944).

He retired in 1944.
