The Archaeology Museum of Catalonia (Catalan: Museu d'Arqueologia de Catalunya, [muˈzɛw ðarkəwluˈʒi.ə ðə kətəˈɫuɲə]; abbreviated as MAC) was created under the Museums of Catalonia Act in 1990 by the Department of Culture of the Government of Catalonia. The head office is located in the former Palace of Graphic Arts, which was built for the 1929 Barcelona International Exposition.
