The Apple Widget was a 10 MB internal hard disk drive manufactured for the Apple Lisa 2/10, which was launched in January 1984. The Widget hard drive had a voice-coil actuator, but it had a proprietary interface and controller. Most hard drives of the time used the ST-506 interface. Unlike the Apple ProFile external hard drive, the Widget was only used with one product, was installed inside of the Lisa, and was entirely designed by Apple.
