Apoorva Chitra is an Indian film production company. NRIs Hari Charana Prasad and his wife Sukanya founded the company in May 2006.

P.V. Sukanya is the cousin of renowned South Indian music director Pasupuleti Ramesh Naidu.

Apoorva Chitra is based at Hyderabad, India. Apoorva Chitra is committed to encourage innovative filmmakers and produce, finance and distribute the most original stories from the Indian subcontinent and bring them to the appreciative moviegoers of the world.

Apoorva Chitra’s mission statement is – To Produce Engaging, Entertaining and Thought Provoking films on socially relevant issues.

Their first production was Kamli, starring Nandita Das and Shafi, which won the National Award for 2006 as well as a Nandi award for Das' performance.

Kamli was critically acclaimed and was India's official entry to the Busan International Film Festival.

The company's second production was SHH..Idi Chaala Manchi Ooru, directed by Hari Charan.
