Aplysia punctata
Aplysia punctata is a species of sea slug, a sea hare, a marine opisthobranch gastropod mollusk in the family Aplysiidae, the sea hares. It reaches a length of up to 20 cm (7.9 in) and is found in the northeast Atlantic, ranging from Greenland and Norway to the Mediterranean Sea.

The rhinophore of Aplysia punctata contains a groove, which extends to about two third of the total length of the rhinophore.

Secondary metabolites (alkaloids) from marine sponges stimulate neurons in the rhinophore ganglion of the rhinophore of Aplysia punctata.
