Anvil Publishing, Inc. is a Philippines book publisher and is the publishing arm of National Book Store. It was founded in 1990, publishing and importing books.
Anvil has a nationwide dealer network servicing 565 dealers in 60 cities and municipalities. The dealers include National Book Store (Anvil’s mother company and the largest bookstore chain in the country today with 150 outlets), Goodwill Book Store, Rex Book Store, Solidaridad, Central Book Store, Popular Book Store, Gaisano chain, Fairmart, Landmark, and CID Bookstore. It has a nationwide academic sales force servicing schools and libraries.
Anvil has put out almost 2,000 titles. 136 titles have won National Book Awards from 1990 to 2011.
