Anusha Valpadasi was a corporator of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation 2012. She represented ward no 176. She was one of the youngest Corporators appointed. She had contested from the seat which was for the reserved categoty, her caste certificate turned out to be false and her appeal in the Bombay High Court was dismissed with scathing observations. It is reported that fraud was committed in obtaining the caste certificate etc., Dharavi, she represents Shiv Sena, a member of the ruling alliance.
She was a third year student of biotech engineering from the MGM college, Navi Mumbai.
