Anton Strouf

Anton D. Strouf (November 19, 1884 – August 27, 1940) was an American politician.

Born in the town of Kossuth, Manitowoc County, Wisconsin, Strouf graduated from the County Rural Normal School and then taught school in Manitowoc County. Strouf served in the Wisconsin State Assembly and was a Democrat. Strouf went to the University of Chicago Law School and was admitted to the Wisconsin bar. Strouf continued to practice law in Great Falls, Montana and served in the Montana State Senate. In 1921, Strouf returned to Manitowoc, Wisconsin and continued to practice law. Strouf committed suicide with a firearm at a hotel in Manitowoc, Wisconsin.
