Antero Alberto de Abreu (born 22 February 1927 in Luanda) was an Angolan author and poet. He studied law in Coimbra and Lisbon before returning to Angola to practice. As an anti-colonial activist, he began writing poetry on the subject, where it was gradually noticed and picked up by various magazines and publications. He remained a productive writer up until his death, and was a founder of the Angolan Writers Union.
