Antón García Caro (1560-1624?) was a Spanish nobleman, Notary, and Procurador of Buenos Aires.
Biography
Born in Sevilla, Antón García was married to María Gómez de Sanabria or Méndez de Sotomayor (descendant of Spanish nobles). Antón García Caro was second settler of Buenos Aires. In 1583, received land grants in Luján. His grandson Simón González de Acosta was Alcalde of Buenos Aires in 1648.
