Anne Nicole Brunell, OAM (née Currie ; born 13 July 1970) is an Australian Paralympic swimmer. She was born without legs and only three fingers on her right hand. She started competitive swimming at the age of 11 and swam for the Nunawading and North Dandenong swimming clubs. At the 1984 New York/Stoke Mandeville Games, she won a bronze medal in the Women's 100 m Freestyle A1 event. She won three gold medals in the Women's 50 m and 100 m Freestyle S6 and Women's 4 × 100 m Freestyle Relay S7 events and a silver medal in the Women's 4 × 100 m Freestyle S1 at the 1990 World Championships and Games for the Disabled, Assen, Netherlands.
At the 1992 Barcelona Games, she won three gold medals in the Women's 4x50 m Freestyle S1–6, Women's 200 m Freestyle S6, and Women's 100 m Freestyle S6 events, for which she won a Medal of the Order of Australia, and a bronze medal in the Women's 50 m Freestyle S6 event. In 2000, she received an Australian Sports Medal. In 2007, she was inducted into the Victorian Honour Roll of Women.
