Born and raised in the USA, Anna identifies as White American but has some family history from Denmark. She, therefore, prides herself in speaking both American English and Danish, which is demonstrated in her role played in the Danish TV Series, Rejseholdet (2000) or Unit 1 in English.

Career

Following Rejseholdet, she has ventured onto more popular TV series, namely Scorpion (2017) and Game of Silence (2016). The most notable among these is Flatliners, where she plays “Alicia”, a supporting actress. This psychological thriller centered on exploring the realms of the afterlife. The plot involves five medical students stopping their hearts in a bold experiment to trigger a near-death experience.
Family
Anna is one of four children of Niels Arden Oplev, a BAFTA award-winning director and producer. He is known for the 2009 film “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo”, based on Stieg Larsson’s novel.
Anna has featured in one of his directed films, namely Flatliners, as well as the series Game of Silence and Rejseholdet.
