Anisa Romero is a musician, painter and designer. She is the lead singer of the groups Sky Cries Mary and Hana. She graduated from the University of Washington in 1990 and received her master's degree from New York University. In 2001, she relocated to New York City where she currently lives with her daughter, Petra.
