Anhvinh Doanvo is an American journalist who writes regularly on politics and international affairs for the Huffington Post and Americablog. His work has previously appeared in over a dozen outlets including The Hill, the Georgetown Public Policy Review, and the Tampa Tribune. Doanvo is a graduate of Stanton College Preparatory High School. His work has engaged national organizations including the American Immigration Lawyers Association and has been quoted in outlets like Counterpunch. Following the publication of his essay, "Western Media's Miscount of Saudi Arabia's Syrian Refugees", ILMFeed, an original source for the Washington Post for a major myth on Syrian refugee counts, issued a public retraction. He has served as a research assistant for a number of organizations, including for the Global Initiative on Civil Society and Conflict's focus on Boko Haram in Nigeria.
