Andrew James White (born 30 June 1983) is an Australian ice hockey player currently playing for the Sydney Ice Dogs in the Australian Ice Hockey League.

Playing career

White first played for the Sydney Ice Dogs (formally known as the West Sydney Ice Dogs) of the Australian Ice Hockey League (AIHL) in 2003. In 2007 during his fifth season with the Ice Dogs White scored a personal best of 22 points and recorded 147 penalty minutes. At the start of the 2011 season White was named as one of the teams alternate captains. During the season he recorded 20 points in his 21 games. The following year White was named as the teams captain.

White was first called up to represent Australia in 2003 where he joined the national senior team to compete at the 2003 Men's World Ice Hockey Championships Division II Group A tournament. In 2005 White tied for the most assists during the 2005 IIHF World Championship Division II Group A tournament, with six. In 2011 White represented Australia for the eighth time at the World Ice Hockey Championships. He finished as the most penalised player of the Division II Group A tournament, with 31 penalties in minutes. The following year he was again named the most penalised player at the 2012 IIHF World Championship Division I Group B tournament, where he amassed 36 penalties in minutes in his five games.

Andrew James White was born on 30 June 1983 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. He first started playing ice hockey at the age of four.
