In 2013, Watt was a founding member of the rock band, California Breed, alongside Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple, Black Sabbath) and Jason Bonham (Foreigner, Led Zeppelin). In 2015, John Varvatos Records offered Watt a record deal after John Varvatos, a California Breed fan, heard Watt’s solo music. Varvatos called Watt “the next generation of rock and roll.”
