Anarsia sthenarota is a moth in the family Gelechiidae. It was described by Meyrick in 1926. It is found on Borneo.

The wingspan is about 13 mm. The forewings are suffusedly irrorated white and somewhat sprinkled dark fuscous, with two short black marks along the costa before and beyond one-fourth and with a semi-oval black spot on the middle of the costa, and four small dark grey transverse marks posteriorly. There is a black dash in the disc before the middle, enclosed in a spot of dark grey suffusion. There is also a round blackish dot enclosed in a small spot of brown-grey suffusion towards the dorsum at one-fourth and several cloudy blackish-grey dots along the termen. The hindwings are pale grey, subhyaline and darker posteriorly.
