Brahmapureeswarar Temple is a Hindu temple located in the village of Ambal in the Nagapattinam taluk of Nagapattinam district of Tamil Nadu, India. The presiding deity is Shiva.
Significance
Ambal is considered to be the birthplace of the Nayanmar saint Somasimara Nayanar. Praises of the temple have been sung by Sambandar in the Thevaram This Temple equal to Kasi.
