Amietophrynus taiensis is a species of toad endemic to Côte d'Ivoire. It is only known from the Taï National Park, although it is likely that its range extends to the adjacent Liberia.

It is listed as a Endangered species due to a restricted range of probably less than 10 km². All individuals surveyed are in a single sub-population. Major threats to this species exist because of ongoing forest loss in south-western Côte d'Ivoire, due to agriculture, timber extraction, and human settlement. Further work is required to determine its natural history, population distribution, range limits, and population status.
