Ameroglossum is a monotypic genus of figwort, containing the species Ameroglossum pernambucense. It is endemic to the Borborema Plateau in the Pernambuco and Paraíba states of Brazil. It is only found on granitic rocky outcrops. It is threatened by drought, fires, quarrying and cattle pasturing.
