Amastigomonas is a genus of Apusozoa.

This taxon has been divided into five genera including Podomonas, Manchomonas, and Multimonas.

Several species have been described including:

  • Amastigomonas borokensis, Amastigomonas caudata, Amastigomonas debruynei
  • Podomonas magna, Podomonas capensis
  • Multimonas media
  • Thecamonas oxoniensis, Thecamonas trahens
  • The genera Apusomonas and Manchomonas appear to be closely related but the branching order of the other genera has yet to be established.
