Amargadhi (अमरगढी) is a town in the far west of Nepal. It is located in the Dadeldhura District of Mahakali Zone. The name of Amargadhi comes from the name of General Amar Singh Thapa (a famous Gurkha General who defended Nepal during the Anglo Nepal war).
