The Alumni Memorial Gym is an indoor athletic facility on the campus of the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. It was built in 1934 during a construction campaign under school president James D. Hoskins, and was replaced by the Stokely Athletics Center in 1967. The facility hosted the Southeastern Conference men's basketball tournament in 1936 and 1937 and again in 1939 and 1940. It is now used as a performing arts center and seats 1,000 spectators. Before that the men's athletic center was located in the bomb shelter that is located on the campus' "Hill".
