Alice Stevenson (10 July 1861 – 18 August 1973) was born at Piccadilly, England and became a British supercentenarian. She was the oldest recognised living person in the world between the death of 112-year-old Josefa Salas Mateo of Spain on 27 February 1973 and Stevenson's own death, aged 112 years 39 days when she died at Sutton, England. This made her the oldest Briton ever. Her record was broken by Anna Eliza Williams on 12 July 1985. After Stevenson's death, 110-year-old Elizabeth Watkins of Northern Ireland took over as the world's oldest person.
