Allama Ali Khan Abro (Urdu: علامه علي خان ابڑو‎) was a Sindhi scholar and educationist who is known for having written the Sindhi translation of Quran and intended to give the Qur'an a practical contemporary interpretation. He also wrote a separate translation for non-Muslims from the request of Sindh's great freedom fighter Maulana Taj Mohammad Amrothi.

He got earlier education from Sindh Madrasatul Islam and got first position in matriculation from Bombay University. He got religious education from Hyderabad where he attained mastery over the Arabic and English languages. After completion of education he started working as a lecturer. He wrote many books on different social and literary topics. He was father of renowned short story writer Jamal Abro, and grandfather of researcher and journalist Badar Abro.
