Alfred Fitchett

The Very Rev. Alfred Robertson Fitchett CMG (1836–1929) was the Dean of Dunedin from 1894 until 1929

Robertson was educated at the University of New Zealand and ordained in 1979. He was Vicar of All Saints, Dunedin until his appointment as Dean: he was also Archdeacon of Dunedin from 1915 to 1919.

His son, William Fitchett, was Bishop of Dunedin from 1934 to 1952.
