Alexander Jackson (sport shooter)

Alexander Townsend Jackson, DSO was a British Army officer and sports shooter.

Jackson was commissioned a second lieutenant in the Worcestershire Regiment on 9 September 1891, and was promoted to lieutenant on 24 December 1892. He was seconded for service with the West African Frontier Force, and was promoted to captain on 10 January 1900. He later fought in World War I and was injured three times. As of 1918, he was a lieutenant colonel, and had earned a third bar for his Distinguished Service Order.

He competed for the British Olympic team at the 1908 Summer Olympics.
