Alex Vasilevsky (born August 29, 1961 – August 8, 2010) was a computer software developer. He was the co-founder of Virtual Iron, which was sold to Oracle Corporation in May 2009 (to become what is now OracleVM). He then co-founded (with Dan McCall) Virtual Computer Inc., the creator of the award winning product called NxTop.

Vasilevsky died of a rare form of tissue cancer on August 8, 2010.
