Akshay pratap singh


Akshay Pratap Singh or Gopalji (born 14 April 1970) is an Indian politician from Pratapgarh (Lok Sabha constituency) in Uttar Pradesh. He is a cousin and follower of the powerful politician Raja Bhaiya, and won the seat in 2004 from Samajwadi Party. However, he lost the Indian general elections, 2009 to Rajkumari (princess) Ratna Singh.

Akshay Pratap Singh is facing several criminal cases, including one that is being investigated by the Central Bureau of Investigation, but he has not been convicted in any case because of his caste and his power.
