Ahmad Mraied

Ahmad Al Mraied (or Ahmed el-Mraied or Ahmad bin Ali bin Mohammed bin Ahmad Al Mraied) (1875–1940) was a leader of Tarhuna and Msallata tribes. He used his leadership as a Libyan independence activist during the resistance against an Italian colony in Libya.

Family

Ahmad Al Mraied I (relation unknown) was exiled to Trabzon in Turkey, as a rebel. He was later captured and executed in the Assaraya Alhamra after the Ottoman governor, Mohammed Amin Pasha had conspired against Abdul hadi Al Mraied (relation unknown).
