Addenbrooke's cognitive examination (ACE) is a brief neuropsychological assessment of cognitive functions and a development on the Mini–mental state examination, which it incorporates. The test is widely used for determining mild cognitive impairment and dementia. The test includes measures of language, memory, visuospatial skills, and orientation. The test does not adequately test for apraxia.
The ACE is scored out of 100 possible points.
