After taking a year off hockey following his release from Greenville, Courchaine enrolled into Ryerson University in 2013. For the 2014-15 season Adam left Ryerson to play for the Mississippi Riverkings of the SPHL having a successful season with 30+ starts. During the summer Adam was traded to the Louisiana IceGators (SPHL) where he will start the 2015-16 season.
