It has been confirmed that production will take place at ZengCheng Plant in China and the CDX will go on sale by July 2016. Currently, the CDX is planned as a Chinese Domestic Market (CDM) model with Acura announcing it has no plans to launch in North America.

Powertrain

The CDX is the first Acura to be equipped with a factory fitted turbocharger since the first generation RDX K23 VTEC TURBO.

Power comes from a 185PS 1.5 DOHC VTEC TURBO coupled to an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission with SportShift system. It is available in a front-wheel and all-wheel drive system (dissimilar to the Acura Super Handling All-Wheel Drive System).
