The Inter Provincial Tournaments are the premier national championship of the opens categories of the South African Yearly tournaments Indoor Soccer. This event is organised by the sport's governing body, the South African Indoor Soccer Federation (SAISF) and is held every year. The first Inter Provincial tournament was dominated by Southern Gauteng in 2006.
The tournaments hosts the following categories : Mens Open, Ladies Open, Under 16, Under 19, Under 23 and Over 30's.
All Star Teams are selected on the basis of having an excellent performance.
Tournament Format
Whilst the precise nature of the tournament has varied slightly over the years, each tournament usually follows a simple round robin format followed by finals contested by the highest placed sides.
The tournament usually takes place over the course of 4 to 6 days.
