Achraf Hakimi (born 4 November 1998) is a Moroccan footballer who plays for Real Madrid Castilla as a defender. He joined the Real Madrid academy in 2006, and played for every youth category since then. He is primarily a right back, but can also play as a centre-back. On 24 January 2017, he was called up to the first team for a Copa del Rey second-leg tie against Celta de Vigo.
International career
Hakimi was born in Spain to parents of Moroccan descent. He debuted for Morocco U23 in a friendly 1-0 win over Cameroon U23. He made his senior debut for the Morocco national football team in a 4-0 victory over Canada.
