The Río Achiguate ([atʃiˈɣwate ]) is a river in the south of Guatemala. The river flows southwards through the coastal lowlands of Escuintla to the Pacific Ocean.

The Achiquate river's proximity to the active Fuego volcano increases the risks of inundations and mudflows.
